Fruit kilometre 0
The I.C. Villaputzu continues the actions on sustainability, expanding those envisaged in the school's sustainability plan.
Since February 2020 pupils from Villaputzu and San Vito are involved in the project "Fruit km 0", with the collaboration of the Secondary school adressing to agricolture and gastronomy located in Muravera and Villaputzu, the Municiplaities and the local farmers.
Twice a week students from Secondary school bring in the Primary school seasonal fruit from local farms, the Secondary School teachers (nutritionist, agronomist) explain to pupils the properties of fruit, children listen, ask questions, smell and taste.
This week the topic was non-alcoholic cocktails!
